Ben got his tooth pulled today. He was a trouper--and surrounded by women;) He's got a path through the Legos on his floor cleared for the tooth fairy!

Husband of the Year

I'd just like to give Jason a BIG shout-out for today. I had a REALLY REALLY bad day (Heather M..you were there;). Jason forgo the trip to Greenfield News and Hobby to come home and get supper etc. for the kids so I could get my homework done.
I can't begin to express how much I appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

snow!!!

We didn't have school today because of Martin Luther King, Jr. day. Since we got about 5 inches of snow last night we went out to play. Unfortunately it wasn't packing snow...so we had to do some clever things to make our snowman:)
Marlee and Sam did not like the snow.

Chicago

On Saturday we went to Chicago to the Museum of Science and Industry. I remember going as a kid...it seemed a lot cooler then:) Don't get me wrong...it was still fun and interesting...but now as a grown up...the coal mine didn't seem as 'awesome'. The boys really seemed to enjoy it though...and it's really all about the kids anyway!
This part wasn't here when I was a kid- it's a hands on place for the kids to paly....they both LOVED it. They had a water table with balls in it...2 of Sam's favorite things.






What is a trip to Chicago without visiting Soldier Field. By the way--
WAY TO GO TODAY BEARS!!!!!!!
Sam heard the moon is made of cheese...he decided to travel to outer space to see if this was true;)

Discovery House
