Busy Boys

There was no school on Monday (2/19) so after a trip to the dentist, we went to the Domes. We took along Zach (a friend of Ben's). They are having the model railway exhibit...so the boys had a great time watching the trains. Sam didn't go with us. He went to daycare and went on a fieldtrip to a music store.
This is Ben's 'Alex P. Keaton...old man look'. He's dressed up because his class went to see Suessical, the Musicial. He LOVED it!!
Today Sam went on a fieldtrip with his daycare to see a play 'The 3 little kittens have lost their mittens'. When I asked Sam about it he said,
"The kittens lost their gloves. The mommy cat was angry. She put the kittens in time-out!" Sam's teacher, Auntie Jill, is back from her visit to see her grandson in CA. We have had a much better week now that she's back. Sam just LOVES her!

Valentine's Day

Well how perfect is this?

This heart was on the car after some snow had cleared off. Ben noticed it and we thought it was pretty cool that we just ended up with a heart on our window.

Cold day

It is a Festivus mircle. We're on our 2nd day off this school year, due to the weather. IT's FREEZING out today...I think with the windchill it's
-30 degrees below zero. We've been hanging out inside...starting to go a little stir crazy. I'm working on file folder games, Sam is playing zoo, and Ben is doing a puzzle. Looks like fun huh?

Scrappin' Saturday

On Saturday, Lynnette and Carmen came up to attend a 12 hour crop with Candee and I. Lynnette her calendar done...and I got 21 (!!!!) pages done. We had a good time...but were VERY tired when it ended at midnight.

Star Student!!

Ben will be Star Student next week. Part of the responsibility of Star Student is caring for Snuggles- the stuffed dog. Snuggles gets to spend the week with us. We're hoping he will enjoy watching the Bears game!!:)

As Star Student Ben needs to bring pictures etc. to school. One of the pictures is of his pet. Since that would be a hermit crab (named Lady), we had a photo shoot on the kitchen floor--for the hermit crab! Nothing I thought I would ever do!!! Isn't she a beauty;)
