Accomplishments

We got our new windows this week...they are so cool!! We are lucky to have the nice weather so we can enjoy the breeze coming through our new windows...that OPEN!!! I spent Saturday scraping the stickers off the windows and cleaning them.
Saturday morning we went to Harvest Fest. We had a fun time making a scarecrow- which the boys named Cherry Picker.

Sunday we played outside and fed popcorn to ducks at the park. I can't believe how many ducks were in the pond---at least 30!!!
We ended up having a nice weekend in which we accomplished a lot- I just love those weekends...it makes me feel like I can handle the upcoming week.

Another busy weekend!!!

Sunday we celebrated Grandma Von's 85th birthday!!! We started by going to church with her (we took up 3 pews!!!!). After church we had a lunch...yummy chicken made by 'boy' Casey. The picture below is of Becca and Grandma 'blowing out the candles'. It was a great day!!! Very well planned!!! Grandma and her new microwave...she can cook popcorn now:)
Saturday morning...Sam had 'football' he's been wondering when his game is!!! He loved playing and can't wait until next week's practice.
Saturday evening Ben and Sam got to go for a ride in airplane with Grandpa Ger. It was Sam's first airplane ride and he kept saying 'awesome'.

Camping weekend

We had another party for Ben (lucky boy!) on Sat. He had his friends over to celebrate!! Here is a picture of the Lego cake I made.
After the party we left to go camping at Governor Dodge State Park. We met Rob, Lynnette, Becca and R.G. there. It was a really nice night. I can't believe we've never been to this park before-they have a really cool waterfall!!!!! Becca with 'wholly' the caterpillar the kids tortured for an hour.

Happy Birthday, Ben!!

Happy 7th birthday to Ben on 9/7/07...lucky 7's...we should have bought a lottery ticket!!!!
We went out for supper at TGI Friday's tonight...the one at Miller Stadium. The boys were both impressed...since they've never been there before. We have a party with Ben's friends on Saturday. We'll be sure to post pictures.

Birthday Party

Yesterday afternoon we had Ben's 'family' party. We were sooooooo lucky to have beautiful weather. We're hoping next weekend the weather will be just as nice- when we have a party with Ben's friends.
