When we got to Grandma and Grandpa's they met us at the gate dressed like this....

On Friday we saw the border patrol boat. The kids were very excited about i--- it was a nice boat!
This is at 'Ropa Usada' (I might have spelled it wrong!) This was a huge 'warehouse' filled with used clothes. The lady in the white shirt is standing on a pile of clothes!!!!!! The workers would bring a forklift load of clothes out and the people would swarm on the clothes...it was CRAZY!!! By the way...this was in Texas...not Mexico!!!!!!!!

This is the fire engine that Grandpa Buck made for the boys...they were VERY excited to ride in it!!! With Grandpa in front of the Rio Grande River.

Christmas Programs

Today both boys had holiday programs. Sam had a fun time with Santa--singing, acting goofy, etc.

Sam and Aunt Jill-- he starts his new daycare on January 3rd and will REALLY miss Aunt Jill!!!!!

Ben's program was in the morning- he did a nice job singing:)

Ice, Ice....baby

Yes...the title took me all day to think up:) I feel all cool (no pun intended) like Rob, Beth and Aelia---we got a snow/ice day!!!!! What a nice suprise and just what I needed:) Here are some pictures of the kids playing outside in the snow!!!

I am such a child of the 80's!!! My favorite Christmas song (although it's a close tie with any Bing Crosby song!!) is from 1984....

The Holiday Season

Saturday night we went to 'Country Christmas'. It is a drive through light display. We really liked it!!! After driving through we went inside to get hot cocoa and look at the inside displays:)

Hmmmm..... where is Santa????
This is by the indoor train display. There were tons of cool trains!! Our favorite train car was the one that said, "nice coal for naughty children".
