More March

It was FINALLY nice enough for the kids to play outside. They had a BLAST with the chalk that Santa left them.

March 2006

It's almost spring!!!
We've had an exciting start to March. Jason went to Texas to play golf with his brothers and see his parents. While he was gone my sister, Josey, came to stay with us. We had a GREAT time. I really miss her and can't believe how much fun we have together.

February 2006

So we haven't been up to too much. We had some visitors from Illinois on the 20th. My mom, Aunt Jo, Grandma Von, cousin AnnEtta and AnnBrielle came to visit. AnnBrielle was born in December 2005 and this was the first time we got to meet her. She is ADORABLE!! The boys had a lot of fun singing to her and telling us when she was crying.
Ben planned a birthday party for my mom and aunt. We had pizza, salad, and cake. He made a birthday sign-so cute because he's learning how to write

January News

Ok...so we thought we should get a dog.....This should cure Jason's desire for a third child. Her name is Lucy. She is about 4 months old. The kids like her-except when she eats their toys.
Other than that we've just been the house of sickness- strep, colds, kid version of bronchitus (how do you spell this?) I think we might all be on the path to health again.

November 2005

SAM TURNED 2!! We are experiencing all the joys of having a toddler again. He loves football, playing with trains, and saying "NO". He is a really good little boy and has a great sense of humor, we are very blessed.

Ben got glasses this month. After putting them on he exclaimed "Mom, everything isn't wobbly anymore!"

October 2005

Trips to the pumpkin farm, playing in the leaves, and trick or treating. No wonder Fall is our favorite time of year.

September 2005

Never a dull moment for a teacher in September!School started on September 2nd. Ben started 4 year old kindergarten. He turned 5 on September 7th.
Chris 'officially' started her new job as a UWM/MPS mentor teacher. She travels around to 5 schools (4~K-8 grade schools and 1 middle school). She teaches the interns how to be teachers and how to write IEP's. It's challenging but fun- no 2 days are the same.
Chris went to Maine with her friend, Candee from September 9-11. They went to a wedding of a former co-worker. What a beautiful wedding and state!!!

August 2005

How did it get to be August already? The summer just flew by! This month, (well actually for about 4 months leading up to the wedding) Chris decided to try her hand at being a wedding planner for her friend Angela and fiance' Jeff. She decided that 2 kids, a new job, and a wedding were just a little too much to handle! Here are photo's from Jeff and Angela's BEAUTIFUL wedding, August 6, at the Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee.

July 2005

We went to Mt. Morris, IL to celebrate the 4th of July. While in town Chris met with Nick, one of her best friends from high school, who was in town from Arizona. They went to prom together but hadn't seen each other in at least 15 years. They have become close friends again:)
Chris taught 1-7th grade (all in one classroom!) during summer school.
Ben started his first season of t-ball. He really enjoyed playing in the dirt along the baseline.

June 2005

Jason's family Joe, Dragana, Juliana, Nathan, and Jonathan came to visit from Texas. The kids had a good time playing together. We went to see Thomas the Tank Engine in Green Bay, WI. Ben and Sam had a great time riding and visiting with Thomas. We also looked at many trains and got to climb on and look in them.

May 2005

Chris and Josey went to Vegas to celebrate Josey's 21st birthday. It was TONS of fun!!!
Jason and the boys went to visit his parents in Savanna, Illinois.

April 2005

We went to visit Josey (Chris' sister) in Dubuque, Iowa. While we were there we got a chance to visit the Mississippi River Museum. It was quite interesting. We also were able to visit the Thomas the Tank Engine outlet store. Thank goodness Ben was sleeping in the car! (Jason and I took turns going in...we didn't leave him alone in the car)
Jason finally finished the gas powered airplane remote control airplane he built. He worked on it for months. Doesn't it look awesome?!

February 2005

Jason visited South Padre Island, Texas with his brothers. They had a good time golfing, goofing around and what ever else the McCoy boys do when no wives are present! They also were able to spend a couple days with their parents in Donna, Texas.

January 2005

We started the year with a trip to the Jelly Belly factory near Kenosha, Wisconsin. Jason thought it would be fun to have us try all the Harry Potter jelly beans~the garlic was NOT a good idea for a jelly bean!
We went with our friends- Scott, Michelle, and Jenna Tilton. Instead of exchanging Christmas gifts, we go away for a weekend somewhere. We always have a lot of fun and have many GREAT memories of our trips!
