Winter in Milwaukee
I'd like to say these pictures were from our yard...but unfortunately we have a snow storm going out there! The boys and I went to the Mitchell Park Domes today. It was great to be inside with all the green plants and warmth while outside it was 10 degrees. One of the Domes has a model train display- which the boys loved!!!

An outing with Scouts
Tuesday evening I got to go to the Police Station with Ben and his Tiger Cub group/pack/den/gang....not real sure what they are called! The boys had a GREAT time and Ben had at least 1,000 questions.
Here are the boys in the back of a police car...there are not upholstered seats in the back of a police car...something I didn't know!

Happy New Year!!!!
We spent New Year's Eve morning driving to San Antonio. On the way we stopped in McCoy, Texas....population 10 people (ok so there was no population listed on the sign but 10 is probably a generous guess of the population)
Once we got to San Antonio we went to Sea World---the final day they are open for the season. A BIG thank you to Uncle Joe for the Sea World tickets!! I think it's cool we've been to Sea World twice in 2007---each time in a different state!
New Year's Eve night we checked out the River Walk. One of my favorite places...however on New Year's Eve with kids...not a place I'd visit again.
Here we are waiting for our plane. Thank goodness for free wi-fi. I can update the blog while we wait:)

More Texas pictures...
By one of Grandma and Grandpa's grapefruit trees.
The view from the balcony of Jason and my hotel room.
Us on the beach...I LOVE this picture:)
Yuppie Jason...Bears fleece and Starbucks...he's gotten flack everywhere we go- about the Bears!
Walking to the beach from our hotel
When we got to Grandma and Grandpa's they met us at the gate dressed like this....
On Friday we saw the border patrol boat. The kids were very excited about i--- it was a nice boat!
This is at 'Ropa Usada' (I might have spelled it wrong!) This was a huge 'warehouse' filled with used clothes. The lady in the white shirt is standing on a pile of clothes!!!!!! The workers would bring a forklift load of clothes out and the people would swarm on the clothes...it was CRAZY!!! By the way...this was in Texas...not Mexico!!!!!!!!

With Grandpa in front of the Rio Grande River.
Putting out 'fires' in Grandpa's shed.
The boys LOVED riding in Grandpa's golf cart (complete with Rudolf leading the way!!)

We're having fun in Texas...many new experiences!!!
Here are a couple pictures from our trip...we'll update with more from the other camera later:)

Christmas favorite
I am such a child of the 80's!!! My favorite Christmas song (although it's a close tie with any Bing Crosby song!!) is from 1984....
It's the song "Do they know it's Christmas".
Here's a link if you'd like to go back to 1984 and sing along!!!
