We came home today to find that our favorite tree at the park had been cut down. The boys were VERY sad..and we went to say goodbye and take a few last pictures. I've attached some pictures we've taken over the years. Goodbye to our favorite tree:(

So sad! Have you seen the book Our Tree Named Steve? It is about a family that has to say goodbye to a beloved tree too. I love the illustrator -- also illustrated Stand Tall, Molly Lou Mellon. I LOVE that one! I'm glad you have pictures :)
